Fletch glappar igen!
Vi har fått tag i Andrew Fletcher aka The Ginger Minimalist som sitter mitt i inspelningarna av Depeche Mode´s kommande album. Inga uttalanden har hitills gjorts från officiella håll och Kollaps är sanslöst nog först ut i världen med att avslöja några av titlarna på skivan. Fletch är på lysande humör och delar med sig av tankar kring arbetet:
How´s it going, Andy?
-I´m fine. Basically landing around drinking coffee.
Is there any progress in the work?
-Dave is fit.
Has Martin written his best songs ever?
-Martin has written some of his best songs ever.
So is it up to par with, say, “Violator”?
-This is the best album we´ve done, I think, since “Violator”.
So can you reveal any titles?
-(He is whispering and from what we can gather we hear that these are some titles) Strange Bliss, Sweetest Deception, Higher Question, Weary Truth, I Am Free & Charlie Wilder is a Motherfucking Wanker.
Are all these Martin Gore songs?
-Those that I mentioned are Martin´s songs yes. But Dave has written a bunch. He will probably have four of them on the album. His skills as a songwriter has improved and he´s really putting Martin out there to be at his best.
No songwriting from you then, Fletch?
-Actually I have managed to put one song in there. Once Dave´s started he got me started too.

Va??? Hoppas du skämtar och är lika ironisk som själva ämnet.
Hans roll i studion har alltid varit att sticka in skallen och säga “det här låter depeche, det här låter inte depeche” och ingen annan.
Vilket dom iofs (läs Wilder och producenten) ibland har tagit till sig.
Sen lägga sig i soffan och läsa The Sun eller daily Mirror och kedjeröka.
